Jacob M. Steinkemper

Jacob (Jake) M. Steinkemper obtained his Bachelors degree in English Literature from Arizona State University in 1997. He was a member of the ASU baseball team, winning one Pac-10 Championship and earning two trips to the College World Series. Jake was drafted by the Chicago Cubs and Montreal Expos and he played in the minor leagues in the East and South. After an injury cut his baseball career short, Jake enrolled in Creighton University School of Law, earning a Juris Doctor in 2002. He was admitted to the State Bar of Arizona that same year and remains a licensed Arizona attorney.
In 2003 Jake pursued Masters degree at New York University. While in New York City he worked as an Attorney with the City of New York Board of Elections. Jake appeared as a Board representative in numerous regulatory, legislative, and judicial proceedings. After receiving his Masters in 2005, Jake returned to Arizona and practiced personal injury law for 5 years.
In 2009, Jake and his wife, Molly, became the proud parents of their first child, Shane. Although Jake enjoys the rare distinction of being a Phoenix native, his wife, Molly, is a Husker and in 2010 they returned to Nebraska for the "good life." Jake spends much of his free time following sports, traveling with his family, and attempting home improvement projects.
